A very remarkable incident occurred in the Azerbaijani city of Sumgait.
The state flags of Azerbaijan and Turkey were hoisted on one of the streets of the city. The municipal administration of Sumgait, in turn, decided to leave only the flag of its state and get rid of the Turkish symbol. However, such decision didn’t appeal to one of the residents of the city , who complained about the actions of the city council, after which the flag was returned to its place.
What is noteworthy in this case is that in social networks the worker who took down the flag was “labelled” as none other than an “Armenian”.
The Armenophobia has reached the point of absurdity and insanity in Azerbaijan. Any negative manifestation of Azerbaijanis seems to be associated with Armenians, which is incomprehensible to a sound mind.
