During the July 2020 Azerbaijani aggression in Tavush, Kamil Zeynali supervised persecution and attacks on Armenians in Moscow, Russia.
My brothers shed Armenian blood, you will be sent to Azerbaijan no matter what. You will return as men. Do you hear, my brother, there are guys and men who cut off the heads of Armenians, our president is with us.
Zeynalli said then on one of the audio recordings
After Kamil Zeynalli gained notoriety for brutally cutting the oh throat of an elderly Armenian man in Artsakh with a knife while shouting “Allahu Akbar” during the 44-day war, he was captured on video laughing joyfully.
Zeynalli was also involved in looting the homes of murdered Armenians in Artsakh.
Recently, Zeynalli was detained at Moscow airport by Russian authorities but was later released, despite international agreements and the requests of Armenian law enforcement officers, due to pressure from the Azerbaijani dictator.
The charges against Zeynalli include crimes against humanity, warcrimes, aggression, and rape, among others. Nevertheless, he was awarded medals for all of the above by dictator Aliyev himself, highlighting the deep-rooted Armenophobia in Azerbaijan.
This case underscores the consequences of instilling ethnic hatred from a young age and rewarding maniacs in Azerbaijan for their crimes if they were committed against individuals of Armenian ethnicity.
